I love little Rayna, aka Fussy Face. She is so much fun and is really growing.
With DHL being in financial trouble, I decided not to wait for my pink slip. I started working as a temp for Blue Cross Blue Shield. This was very satisfying work, but I became overwhelmed with projects. I then found a temp position at Wells Fargo in Chandler. This was easy, boring work - but it was an excuse to ride my motorcycle each day. At the same time, I kept working part time for Blue Cross Blue Shield. After little Rayna was born, I needed to spend more time at home. On top of that, Wells Fargo was not providing me any sense of accomplishment, other than a steady paychck. Eventually I had to quit the job at Wells Fargo because I couldn’t be away from the house. Now I’m back on 40 hours per week with Blue Cross Blue Shield.
As far as my motorcycle riding career, I have a metallic red 2007 Yamaha R1 (1000cc). This is a monster bike for me, since I’m just a beginner. I usually ride the back streets at night just to get more comfortable. I don’t like riding in the cold much, but when I bundle up its ok. Since quitting Wells Fargo, I have hardly ridden my bike much, but hopefully I can find more time to do that.
Babygirl and I were down in Tucson visiting my brother and his family. They pulled out old photo albums our parents had been keeping. I’ll be posting most of the pictures, but here’s a preview of things to look forward to…
I’m not sure when it exactly lapsed, but tommynice.com was down and out for a few weeks. I hadn’t checked on the site for several months, when I found the site erased about 2 days ago. Luckily Big White (aka Mike D) was able to get me decent pricing on a new hosted site.
I’ll be working on this site as much as possible, primarily uploading photos, but I’ll try to keep you posted on what’s going on in my life.
